29 Jan Ron Hamm Visits Cincinnati to Speak at City Council Meeting on Smale Park Update
Ron Hamm and and his strategic partner, Bill Hanka of Hanka Advisor, traveled to Cincinnati on January 26 to meet with Park Board Director Willie Carden and his team and participate in a Cincinnati City Council Neighborhoods Committee meeting to provide an update on federal activity on the Smale Riverfront Project. At the Neighborhoods Committee meeting chaired by Vice Mayor David Mann, with Councilmembers Yvette Simpson and Kevin Flynn attending, Ron and Bill discussed recent highlights of the Smale Project’s federal accomplishments, including $4.5 million in federal funds that were awarded in 2014 to complete the project’s current $30 million federal authorization, enacted in 2007. Bill and Ron also received a tour of the most recent construction activity at the Smale Project site from Mr. Carden and his team and began planning a trip to Washington, D.C. for Mr. Carden and his team in Spring 2015.
