Hamm Consulting Group Talks Effective Federal Advocacy, 2016 Presidential Race, and Equity in Innovation and technology at the 2016 BDPA Regional Innovation Summit

On June 24, Ron Hamm of Hamm Consulting Group, joined BDPA Washington for its 2016 Regional Innovation Summit at Bowie State University.  Ron made a presentation focused on effective federal advocacy, STEM education, the innovation and technology agenda for the 2016 President candidates, and the critical importance of working collectively to create equitable educational, career, and business opportunities in the innovation and technology sectors.

“Mr. Hamm says that the opportunity to dialogue with students and BDPA members in business and academia about the evolution of innovation through sharing and strategic ways to educate and engage more people of color in innovation and technology and STEM education was beneficial.  It has elevated our firm’s desire to support such efforts from the advocacy perspective and through helping to foster strategic and value-added public-private partnerships.“

The Industry Day of the Innovation Summit featured insightful roundtable discussions on STEM education, innovative solutions, interoperability, talent acquisition, Start-Ups, and industry training.  Ham Consulting Group appreciated the opportunity to participate in the BDPA 2016 Regional Innovation Summit and looks forward to being a long-term partner and resource to BDPA.
